Well, Liz, I'm not doing that! I've just managed to make a hash of website, too, so I don't think I'm safe to be let out. But no-one reads my blog anyway...

Bernardine if it is any consolation, I have got the counting thing to work - except when I changed it from 0 to the grand total of over 1000 it went incredibly loooooooooooooong on me - but I haven't a clue about how to put my fellow novel racers in. I feel so guilty about it as I go on other blogs and there's my name... and it seems churlish not to repay the compliment!!!
